Merİç Korkmaz

  I have completed my undergraduate degree in 2014 at Izmir University of Economics, Department of Software Engineering where medium of instruction is English. After I have graduated, I started my graduate study at Dokuz Eylül University, Department of Management Information Systems in order to gain different programing skills. At the same time, two of my colleagues and I, and two professors from Izmir University of Economics, founded the Sirenox Software and Information Technologies Company in order to develop TUBITAK projects. During my work at Sirenox, I had an opportunity to participate in many web projects demanded by the Turkish Ministry of Family and Social Policies, as well as many private high schools and private companies in Izmir.

  I worked 4 years at Izmir University of Economics, Management Information Systems Directorate as a front-end developer in OASIS (Student Information System), Academic Personnel Information System, Alumni Information System and Web Management System projects of the University. I mostly had the opportunity to work with Codeigniter and Yii2 php frameworks in the projects I was involved in. I developed the interfaces of the developed projects by using the bootsrap, jquery and other javascript libraries.

  As of August 2021, I started to work at Emakina, I am taking part of Cape Union Mart project.
